How it works:

  1. We provide an Initial Property Report at first contact, providing clarity & recommendations on the work required.
  2. We deliver ongoing maintenance using a Mixed-Task hourly approach (so no constant approvals for each small job). This covers all general tasks on our services list, prioritised as needed.
  3. We give brief periodic update reports with photos, so you can see progress without needing to follow things up.

No lock-in, no additional approvals – predictable budgets.

How to get started

STEP 1

Your loved one is assigned an aged care provider who manages their funding and care plan.*

Step 2

You can choose who delivers services – including home and garden maintenance

Step 3

Let the provider know you have chosen Fortitude Property Maintenance to carry out the work.

STEP 4

The provider will contact us to organise quotes, approvals and confirm the service.

STEP 5

We complete the reports & deliver the service. You can opt in to receive the reports and updates. They are automatically sent to the provider.

*For questions about individual funding or budgets, please contact your Home Care Package provider.


What if the provider says no?

  • You have the right to choose your own service providers.
  • Sometimes providers may suggest their preferred contractors, but you are not locked in.
  • Providers will need to consider budgets and approve any requests.
  • If needed, you can ask your provider to explain why a request is declined.
  • We are happy to speak directly with your provider to make the process easier and onboard into their system.
